Ingested have been forced to cancel the first three-dates of their upcoming North American tour with Despised Icon due to a delay in their visa process. The cancelled dates include September 15th in Kansas City, MO, September 16th in Des Moines, IA and September 17th in Minneapolis, MN.

The group issued the following statement:

Ingested fans USA, it is with great disappointment that we have to announce the cancellation of our opening 3 tour dates prior to our tour with Despised Icon. Due to the delay in our VISA’s being processed we are not logistically able to enter the United States until after these shows. Our tour will now begin in Winnipeg, MB on 9/19. We apologise to any one who was looking forward to seeing us in Kansas City, Des Moines & Minneapolis but unfortunately this is a situation that is out of our control. Thank you all in advance for the understanding and support!”

There’s been quite a few recent cancellations due to visa delays . Earlier this week, Orange Goblin drummer Chris Turner was forced to miss the group’s U.S tour due to a very slow visa application process and earlier this month, Rotting Christ were forced to drop off from this year’s Psycho Las Vegas due to an unexpected visa delay.
