Guitarist Marty Friedman announced a North American tour just last month, with label-mates Exmortus tapped to provide direct support on the 21-date run. But word has come out that Disney, the owner of the famed House of Blues music venue, has barred Exmortus from their Anaheim, CA venue for reasons that aren’t 100% clear. Just look at those gentleman (at left); they are sweethearts!
In an update posted by Prosthetic Records:
“UPDATE: @Exmortusband have been declined Disney approval & will not be playing with #MartyFriedman on 10/1 at House of Blues Anaheim.”
Two notable bands have been banned by Disney this year; Warbringer was banned from playing the same House of Blues in California earlier this year, while letlive got the boot from the House of Blues venue in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
