Just a week into their tour with Suicide Silence and Emmure has suffered a bit of a setback. Vocalist Frankie Palmeri posted an update to Facebook saying that he, “experienced a major tear in my vocal chords” and had to cancel tonight’s show in Colorado Springs, CO.

Hey Colorado , it’s Frankie here.
It’s with a heavy heart I must inform you EMMURE will not be performing at The Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins tonight. (And possibly tomorrow night )
I experienced a major tear in my vocal chords and my only chance in finishing the tour is to sacrifice getting to see all of our supporters tonight.
I am already on my way to quick recovery and once again deeply apologize for anyone let down by the news.
We love you all…this does not put the breaks on our current or future obligations but..I am human..these things happen.
Emmure is part of the Stronger Than Faith Tour with Suicide Silence, Within the Ruins, and Fit For An Autopsy, which just started on February 17th, and will run into late March.
