In the midst of the Baltimore uprising, it’s a given that some musical events might get cancelled. In this case, Dragonforce had to postpone a show earlier this week because Maryland was under a State of Emergency.
The band posted the following update:
“Due to the situation (riots) in the city of Baltimore with the state declared as in a ‘state of emergency’, last night’s show at the Soundstage with KAMELOT has been rescheduled for Thursday. Early doors at 6pm. Show start 7pm. All tickets will be honoured. See you then!”
The comment thread in that announcement remained civil, though the same can’t be said for some metal heads who took to social media worried that Maryland Deathfest was going to be cancelled.
