Brazilian death metal outfit Crypta will return to North America this fall for their In The Other Side Tour. The trek kicks off on September 5 in Brooklyn, NY and concludes on October 12 in Cambridge, MA. Tickets are on sale at this location.
The band comments:
“It’s gonna be a blast to be back in the US and Canada for this headlining run! We have a lot of surprises on this new show that mixes both Echoes of the Soul and Shades of Sorrow eras, and we can’t wait to play this killer set for the North American metalheads!”
Crypta now perform as a three-piece with Fernanda Lira (bass, vocals), Tainá Bergamaschi (guitar), and Luana Dametto (drums), following the departure of guitarist Jéssica di Falchi on March 10th.
The joint statement via social media read:
“Crypta announces the departure of Jéssica di Falchi from the band. This step was taken by mutual agreement, with the decision coming from her, and being respected and accepted by the band. We are immensely grateful to Jéssica for all our time, journey, experiences and adventures together over the last few years, and we will always cherish and appreciate all her contribution to the band.
“I would like to thank Crypta for trusting in my work and for inviting me to be a part of this story. I am also very grateful to the fans for their support and kindness. I will carry this experience with me forever. See you soon on the road!” – Jessica
We wish you luck and the best for your future and your career, Jessi! Thank you!
* We would like to remind you all that future shows and tours already scheduled and yet to be announced, as well as the writing and release of Crypta‘s third album will continue unaffected and will occur as planned.”

While no longer part of the band, di Falchi’s presence in metal continues. A few weeks after splitting with Crypta, di Falchi made headlines with a guest solo during Tool’s “Jambi” performance at Lollapalooza Brasil 2025.
