Last year, the Summer Slaughter tour went in a different direction by making it a little more progressive sounding. And now, for the first time-ever, the touring event will have three headliners on the bill for its run this summer. Headliners include Cattle Decapitation, Carnifex, and The Faceless. All three bands will perform a full headline set as Rivers of Nihil, Nekrogoblikon, Lorna Shore, Brand of Sacrifice, and the winners of Headbang for the Highway will be joining the trek for support.
Cattle Decapitation are currently working on the follow-up to 2015’s The Anthropocene Extinction, which is expected to arrive later this year via Metal Blade Records. During this tour, the group will be giving fans a treat by sharing some of their new material live. The trek is scheduled to kickoff on July 20th in Denver, CO and will run through August 14th in Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale this Friday (17th).
