Billy Corgan has announced a new solo project, Billy Corgan and The Machines of God, set to perform music from Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness, Machina/The Machines of God, Machina II, and his 2024 release Aghori Mhori Mei. The band, featuring Corgan, Kiki Wong, Jake Hayden, and Kid Tigrrr, will embark on the A Return to Zero U.S. tour starting June 7.
The Smashing Pumpkins will release an 80-song Machina box set, exclusively available at Corgan’s Madame Zuzu’s tea shop, alongside a remastered 16-track vinyl reissue on August 22. Pre-orders begin June 27.
Additionally, the Mellon Collie 30th anniversary will be celebrated with A Night of Mellon Collie and Infinite Sadness, a seven-show series premiering at Chicago’s Lyric Opera from November 21–30, 2025. These announcements follow Corgan’s recent podcast launch, The Magnificent Others.
