If you’re going to see Napalm Death with Voivod, Carcass, Obituary and Herod in Switzerland tonight (18), or saw them play in Bologna, Italy last night, you most likely noticed a pretty conspicuous absence, namely vocalist Barney Greenway. While it’s not stated exactly what the issue is, Greenway has had to return to the UK for “unforeseen personal obligations.” Thankfully, however, last night’s show went on, as will tonight’s, with Corrupt Moral Altar singer Chris Reese filling in, so if you were a casual fan of the band, you might not have even noticed. Bassist Shane Embury commented via the band’s Facebook page, saying “We have been rehearsing a set in soundcheck today for tomorrows show and it is sounding brutal and intense and we hope you guys in will show him and us your support.”
