We may not know for sure what long term plans lay ahead for Avenged Sevenfold (and Mike Portnoy), but we at least know what they’re doing after Christmas. The band has just announced dates for the Nightmare After Christmas Tour, which will happen this coming January and Winter. Support will come from Stone Sour and Hollywood Undead. A7X has been touring a lot lately with Stone Sour internationally (the two also appeared on this past Fall’s Uproar Tour together) and Hollywood Undead…is still sadly around. That’s a shame, but at least this tour means that Avenged Sevenfold and Portnoy (who has been filling in for the late Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan) will stick together for a little longer.
