The Decibel Magazine Tour has packaged extreme music to concertgoers since its launch back in 2012. It was just last year when we saw Kreator and the year prior they brought Abbath on the bill. The unique combination with dark and extreme bundles will continue next year with Enslaved set as the headliners for the seventh annual edition in 2018, with support coming from Wolves in the Throne Room, Myrkur, and Khemmis. The trek will kick off on Feb. 15th in Philadelphia and run up until March 10th in Santa Ana, CA. Tickets go on sale this Friday (27th) at 10 AM local time.
Enslaved guitarist and co-founder Ivar Bjørnson expressed his excitement:
“I have always wanted Enslaved to be part of the Decibel Tour concept. Not only is Decibel an institution, and defender of the last line of resistance for the printed metal mag in North America (for a band started in 1991, printed magazines are no small matter), but the Decibel Tour has also become an institution and an icon for metal that we admire here on the other side of the pond. So, to be asked to headline, and to perform with these other very fine artists, is a great honor and a great pleasure. Be there or be trapezoid!”
