6. Ministry, Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs

By the early 90’s, industrial metal started to break big. And one of the most notable albums that helped paved the way for the genre is Ministry’s fifth album (actually titled ΚΕΦΑΛΗΞΘ, but often referred to as Psalm 69 for short). The album exposed Ministry to a bigger audience, with “Jesus Built My Hotrod” having received major airplay on MTV. Though Ministry would go through it’s fair share of troubles and lineup changes since then, fans still look at Psalm 69 as Ministry at their best.
