10. Obituary, The End Complete
While some might tag Cause of Death as the signature Obituary album, we’d single out The End Complete. The band upped both their chops and their production for the album, which went on to find a bigger audience than they’d had before. For a second there, after this album sold 200,000 albums and Morbid Angel’s Covenant sold over 100,000 the following year, it seemed like Florida death metal might take over the world. That didn’t happen, but this album still stands the test of time.
