Bassist Chris Squire of Yes passes away

After a short battle with Acute Erythroid Leukemia which was diagnosed in May, founding Yes bassist Chris Squire passed away this weekend at the age of 67. Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler called Squire, “one of the great bass players,” and guitarists Joe Satriani, Dave Mustaine, and Tom Morello both offered their condolences via Twitter.
