Orgy have shared a video for their new song, “Empty.”

Jay Gordon comments:

“I’m excited to finally start getting these tracks out for Orgy again. As we move toward a new direction musically speaking, I wanted to put a track out that has a bit of that signature Orgy sound, and hint at what’s coming next. Hope everyone will see the big picture and enjoy this track called “Empty” about being drained from always trying to make everyone happy.

I’m really stoked to deliver this track “Empty” which sums up the rigors of both intimate and platonic friendships alike, and how draining they can be to maintain.“

Posted by on July 26, 2018

Revolver has released their top 20 essential nu metal albums. While we have blatantly forgotten about five bands in this subgenre, we do remember many influential records as well. Revolver’s list is surprising since they are missing a few important groups including such Coal Chamber and arguably Rage Against the Machine. Check out their list […]

KoRn’s Jonathan Davis reflects on 1998’s ‘Family Values Tour’

Posted by on March 2, 2018

It’s hard to believe that the Family Values Tour is entering its 20th year anniversary. Back in 1998, the tour didn’t involve the Deftones, but it included KoRn, Rammstein, Ice Cube, Orgy, Incubus, and Limp Bizkit. During that time, these acts were prominent for the nu metal scene, and Metal Hammer spoke with KoRn frontman […]

‘Spin’ names their top 40 covers by nu-metal bands

Posted by on April 28, 2016

Back in the ’90s and early aughts, the nu-metal explosion found bands, some of which had no reasons being signed, thrust upon us in the wake of Korn, Deftones and Limp Bizkit’s success. Granted, some of those bands were great, and others not so much. What they all had in common was that one of […]
