Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley may have a fan in Taylor Swift

Posted by on January 14, 2019

Every Time I Die vocalist Keith Buckley was shocked to discover an old polaroid of Taylor Swift posted on Facebook, in which the pop icon is sitting in front of a metal door upon which one of his lyrics is written. The line, “If you leave me, I’m coming with you.” from the Every Time I Die song, “Buffalo 666”, is written on the door that Swift sits in front of. The Polaroid was part of Swift’s fifth studio album 2014’s 1989. You can call it a bonus feature? The record came with five polaroids, each with Swift’s lyrics handwritten on the bottom. What could this possibly mean? Draw your own conclusions. Social media is indeed a vortex of mystery and fascination!

If there’s one thing you might want to keep in mind when attending an Every Time I Die show, it’s that the stage is theirs, and maybe you shouldn’t try to take a selfie while onstage. A few years back, some guy found out the hard way when guitarist Jordan Buckley karate kicked a cell phone […]

Metal dads reflect on fatherhood

Posted by on June 19, 2016

Today is the one day a year we reserve to salute the rockin’ dad. My personal contribution deals with a boombox blasting Motorhead, which my ministry-loving father placed against my mother’s pregnant stomach in 1988. Lemmy himself penetrated the flesh walls of my inner sound studio to welcome me personally into the world of metal, which I’d grow […]

Every Time I Die fan snuck in backstage, discussed band with Jordan Buckley

Posted by on December 16, 2015

Going backstage is overrated and some people don’t really know this. If there’s a chance for a fan to go back there, expecting to have a thoughtful and deep conversation with their favorite musicians, said fan will take it and will try his best to make his dreams come true. That seems to be what […]
