Pyrkagion, the new black metal project featuring members of Bell Witch, Hissing, and Human Effluence, are set to release their debut EP, The Katechon And The Unending Fire, on August 18th via Cestrum Nocturnum Recordings. The two-track EP showcases the band’s desire to explore dormant sounds within contemporary black metal. With a concept centered around fire and featuring apocalyptic vocals, Pyrkagion set an overall dark and hopeless tone as the band recorded the EP, mixed by Dylan Haseltine and mastered by Greg Chandler.
