If you got to see Korn in South America this past week, you’re lucky. Not just because you got to witness Tye Trujillo, son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, fill in on bass for Fieldy, but because the band’s cancelling most of their tour dates next month. When the announcement was made about Tye playing, the band said it was due to “unforeseen circumstances” that Fieldy couldn’t make it. That’s the same reason they say they need to reschedule. Hopefully Fieldy is ok, even though he’s not mentioned as the reason they’re pulling out of touring. They’ll still be playing the three festival dates next month, presumably because they’re getting paid too much money not to. It’s unclear whether Fieldy will be playing with them. Here are the dates the band was going to be playing, with Animals as Leaders and Ded supporting:
5/07 Silver Spring, MD. @ The Fillmore
5/09 Huntington, NY @ The Paramount
5/10 Pittsburgh, PA @ Stage AE
5/11 Grand Rapids, MI @ 20 Monroe Live
5/14 Kansas City, MO @ Uptown Theater
5/16 Memphis, TN @ Minglewood Hall
5/17 Nashville, TN @ Nashville Municipal Auditorium#
5/18 Atlanta, GA @ The Tabernacle
