It’s been about 5 years since Psycroptic toured across North America but the Aussie tech masters are back and ready to destroy everything on their path. Frontman Jason Peppiat had a chat with us discussing their future plans to get back on the road to support their latest self-titled release and for their North American run, they teamed up with the Bloodletting Tour which has brought similar acts to the country like Gorod back in 2013.
You can also take a look at the gallery below and get an idea as of what you can expect from the Australians, plus the amazing package of American technical death bands like The Kennedy Veil, Arkaik, and Ovid’s Withering.
With a humble but energetic crowd, the whole set of tech maniacs delivered an unrelenting force of brutality and aggressiveness, turning the nightclub into a war zone and kicking off the tour the right way and giving a statement of what the rest of the country was about to witness.
Psycroptic released two albums before coming back to the US and, even when their return was already due, it was worth the wait as they brought an excellent set to make up for all those years of absence. Performing many fans’ favorite tracks like “Carriers of the Plague” and “Colour of Sleep” certainly fulfilled the hunger of the attendees; plus more tracks from their latest, like “Echoes to Come” and “The World Discarded” only proved that the band’s quality has been untouchable in the past 15+ years.
