The disrupting news of Evile guitarist Ol’Drake quitting the band in September left fans wondering what Evile’s fate would be as a band. But a month later, they are now making strides to move ahead, accepting applications for his replacement. The band posted on their Facebook page:

EVILE are now accepting applications for the vacant lead guitarist position. If interested, please send any links, videos, photos and biogs as well as a brief statement about yourself to:

While Ol’Drake’s departure sucked for fans, the new opportunity could be the answer to one person’s thrashing dreams. The band has also answered questions from potential auditioners via Facebook:

We have had so many applications in last couple of days, wow and thanks!! A few FAQ popping up.
1. When is the cut-off point? No rush..if you can get them to us in next few weeks that’s cool.
2. Files..Keep sizes low, many messages are getting truncated due to file size, send links where possible.
3. Direct Questions, due to high volume please be patient for a reply answering any specific questions about the gig.
