The full lineup for the 2024 edition of BottleRock Napa Valley has been announced. With 75 artists ranging from pop to rock, leaving just a handful of heavier acts, including Pearl Jam, as one of the headliners. Additional headliners are Ed Sheeran, Stevie Nicks, and Mana. The three-day event will bring music, wine, and craft beer culinary goodies, and set for May 24 through 26 at the Napa Valley Expo. Tickets are available now via the event’s website, with general admission tickets starting at $456 for the entire three-day package.

While the festival explores more pop artists mixed with some up-and-coming acts, the overall experience may be worthwhile to attend. With that said, the festival does include a selected interesting mix such as Queens of the Stone Age, The Offspring, All Time Low, Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters), My Morning Jacket, and the return of the 70s dirt rock cover band, Chevy Metal.

Dave Graham, one of the partners in Latitude 38 Entertainment, the organization that runs BottleRock Napa Valley, expressed:

“We are extremely happy with the 2024 lineup. PEARL JAM has been on our — and our fans’ — wish list from the very beginning. Ed Sheeran is one of the most sought-after touring acts in the world. And we’re really looking forward to finally having Stevie Nicks here in Napa Valley to perform hits from her legendary career.”

New Pearl Jam album?

Pearl Jam have been working on the follow-up to 2020’s Gigaton, and perhaps we could see this album released just in time, if not before BottleRock. The upcoming record, produced by Andrew Watt, who previously worked with Eddie Vedder on the singer’s 2022 solo effort, Earthling, may come with a heavier surprise.

In an interview with Classic Rock magazine, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready revealed:

“It’s a lot heavier than you’d expect. There’s the melody and energy of the first couple of records. Andrew pushed us to play as hard and melodic and thoughtful as we’ve done in a long time. I feel like Matt Cameron’s drumming has elements of what he did in Soundgarden.”

McCready didn’t unveil a title or release date but expressed his anticipation for the record to be released sometime this year.
