Ozzy Osbourne was privately laid to rest on Thursday (31) at his 250-acre estate in Buckinghamshire, England. The intimate ceremony followed a massive public funeral procession in Birmingham a day earlier. According to The Sun, 110 of Ozzy’s closest loved ones joined Sharon and his children, Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis (from his first marriage to Thelma Riley), for the private service. The gathering included close friends, family, and rock legends such as Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward, Metallica’s James Hetfield and Robert Trujillo, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, and Sir Elton John.
A floral display reading “Ozzy Fucking Osbourne” adorned the grounds, while Yungblud reportedly gave a reading. Guests paid heartfelt tributes online following the service. Marilyn Manson called it a “reverent, beautiful ceremony,” and Alice In Chains’ Mike Inez referred to Ozzy as “the greatest of all time.” Osbourne, who passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at age 76, was laid to rest near a lake on his property. His final public farewell, held in Birmingham, drew tens of thousands of fans and was livestreamed for those around the world.
Just a few weeks prior, on July 5th, Osbourne took his “final bow” during Back to the Beginning, his last live performance both as a solo artist and with Black Sabbath. Held in Birmingham, the emotional event was witnessed by thousands in person and millions more via livestream around the world, ultimately raising nearly $200 million for charity. For images from Osbourne’s private burial, TMZ has shared several photos of musicians arriving at his estate.
