We recently reported about Exodus drummer Tom Hunting and his ongoing battle with cancer. The drummer has had a successful total Gastrectomy and is now resting comfortably.
According to Gary Holt’s Instagram, the surgery went according to plan. The caption reads,
“GREAT NEWS!! So Tom came out of surgery about 45 minutes ago, he’s still heavily sedated but everything went according to plan. Gastrectomy complete, heavily sedated but all cancer and mesothelioma nodules removed . He’s a warrior. I’ll give updates later as I get them, been a stress filled day, thank you to everyone for all the positive vibes . Much metal love🤘🏻❤️.”
On July 5, Hunting spoke of his chemotherapy and where he wanted to be.
He said:
“I can’t wait to travel the world, playing music, enjoying every moment of this crazy journey!! I’ll check in soon again and share how things are going. THANKS AND MUCH LOVE TO EVERYONE!!! CHEERS!!!!”
