It’s been over three years since Fear Factory released their latest effort, 2015’s Genexus and now, it looks like we could see a new album arrive in 2019. M.I.R.P recently interviewed frontman Burton C. Bell during last month’s inaugural Headbangers Con in Portland, Oregon as the singer gave a promising update.

He commented:

“Fear Factory has a record done. It’s delivered to the label. We’re just waiting for some legal technicalities [to be sorted out]. And the record will be out next year.”

Burton pointed out that the group have been facing a few “legal technicalities,” which makes sense for the record’s delay. Exactly two years ago we heard news on a potential new album as we were hopeful to see a 2017 release. While other rumors were raised on the possibility of the band breaking up, we’ve also heard their new material will be “tighter” than Genexus.
