Following yesterday’s (15th) announcement of Noora Louhimo leaving the fold, Battle Beast have welcomed their new vocalist, Marina La Torraca. No stranger to the scene, La Torraca is known for her work in Exit Eden and the symphonic metal project Phantom Elite. It’s no secret that Noora has a voice of her own, which brought a powerful new chapter to the band over the last thirteen years, welcoming a brand-new fanbase, where her unique and impeccable vocals steered the ship. However, it’s now time for a change, giving new life to the group and to Noora’s solo career as well.We look forward to seeing which direction the band will take next, with La Torraca paving the way.
The band issued the below statement:
“BATTLE BEAST Welcomes New Vocalist Marina La Torraca
One story ends, another begins. We’re excited to start this new chapter and introduce you to the new voice of Battle Beast: Marina La Torraca.
You may know Marina from her work with Phantom Elite, Exit Eden, or her feature vocals across various other projects. Now, she joins Battle Beast as we step into the next era of the band.Marina comments:
“When I first saw an email with both Battle Beast and my name in the subject line, I honestly thought it had to be a mistake. But once I opened it, I couldn’t have been happier. I’m incredibly honored to be part of this new chapter and deeply grateful for the trust and support from the band.
Is it a little terrifying to follow in the wake of a vocal legend like Noora? You bet! Is it also very exciting? Absolutely. Battle Beast is one of the hardest-working and most genuinely talented bands out there, and I’m proud to be here to help them keep growing and spreading joy. Buckle up — this is going to be fun.”
We hope you, our fans, will give Marina a warm welcome to the Battle Beast family.
Our first adventures together will take us into truly exotic waters in more ways than one, as the Far East & Down Under Tour kicks off in March. With love,
BATTLE BEAST
