Did you enjoy your first taste of new music from Godflesh? How’s about a full helping? The band’s new EP Decline & Fall is now available for streaming in full on Bandcamp so you can enjoy hearing the first new release from Godflesh since 2001’s Hymns. Our favorite description of Godflesh came from Faith No More’s Mike Patton, who described them as what it sounds like when your Walkman’s batteries start to run out (sorry, people under 30, you probably won’t get the reference). That’s pretty apt, even if there isn’t any such thing as a Walkman any more, but if you like sludgy, downtuned industrial awesomeness, you’ll want to listen now. At any rate, eat it up, then sit and wait eagerly for the band’s return full length album A World Lit Only By Fire in September.
