Primus have unveiled a new track, “Little Lord Fentanyl,” featuring a guest performance from Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer). The track marks the band’s first release since 2022’s Conspiranoid EP. The single also introduces new drummer John Hoffman, who earned his spot after beating out over 6,100 applicants in the band’s global “Interstellar Drum Derby” audition. “Little Lord Fentanyl” arrives during Primus’s spring Sessanta tour with A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, celebrating Keenan’s 60(ish) birthday, and ahead of their Onward & Upward headline tour kicking off July 5 in Paso Robles, CA.
