New York City post-hardcore veterans Orange 9mm are back with a brand new single, “Turn It Up,” their first piece of new music since the 1990s. The track marks the band’s official return and solidifies their new lineup following a recent performance supporting Refused and Quicksand on The Refused Are Fucking Dead farewell tour. Artwork for the single was created by Mike Saes.
Formed in 1994 by Chaka Malik (Burn, Ghost Decibels) and Chris Traynor (Helmet, Bush), Orange 9mm made waves with their genre-blending sound that fused punk, hardcore, and groove-heavy rhythms. Now reformed with Chris Enriquez (Spotlights, Julie Christmas) on drums and Cory Bonfiglio (Total Meltdown) on bass, the band is working on a new LP and preparing for more live shows.
