The long awaited self-titled return of Eyehategod is now available for streaming a week ahead of its May 27 release. It’s streaming over on Pitchfork in full for your sludgy enjoyment. This album presents a few firsts for the band: it’s their first album since 2000, first release on Housecore Records, first without drummer Joey LaCaze since his death last year, and, as a result, the first with new drummer Aaron Hill. If you want to know what we thought of it, our own Chip McCabe can sum it up for you.

The band will be heading out on tour next week with Ringworm and Enabler in support of the album. You probably don’t want to miss that.
