It’s been a few years since we’ve heard from Gallows. The band’s last, self-titled album was released in 2012 on Bridge Nine, and the UK hardcore band’s forthcoming fourth album, Desolation Sounds, will be as well. It’s been announced that the album will be coming out on April 13th in the UK, and presumably a day later in the States. The band are previewing the album with a single and video called “Bonfire Season.” It’s a little surprising how melodic the song is. After about a minute of feedback, the song kicks in, and the guitars and vocals are restrained, with the groove and sounding almost like Marilyn Manson. The video is artfully shot and as moody as the song.

You can already pick up the song digitally, but the band will be releasing a 7″ single on on February 9th. Here’s the track listing to the single:

A Side:

“Bonfire Season”
“Bonfire Season” (Jesus Fucking Christ Remix)

B Side:

“Denim Demon” (Turbonegro cover)
“Scare Me” (Major Lazer cover, featuring Marcia Richards of The Skints)
