While we’ve dug Coliseum for a while now, their last full length, 2010’s House With a Curse knocked it out of the park. It hit our sweet spot of heaviness and Amphetamine Reptile-inspired really loud indie rock. The Louisville trio will be releasing their fourth full length, Sister Faith, on Temporary Residence on April 30. The album was produced by J. Robbins, who’s also worked with Clutch.

Pitchfork has debuted a song, Black  Magic Punks,”  from the new album, and it picks up where House With a Curse let off. If that sounds like Boris guitarist/vocalist Wata assisting with background vocals on the track, then damn you have good ears, but it is indeed. Other guests on the album include Robbins himself and Sebadoh’s Jason Loewenstein. Check it out after the jump.
