The badass album cover and title of Brooklyn-based band Black Water Rising’s sophomore album is a perfect summation of what to expect within. The dirty rock riffs unleashed on Pissed and Driven are a step up from their first album, and are suitable for open roads and open pits. The band have played shows with Monster Magnet and Hellyeah, which the fit sonically in between. Album opener “Show No Mercy” is a calling card for the rest of the album that follows. While it will be available tomorrow, you don’t have to wait until then to get in on the ride.
