This year, something many thought was never going to happen happened, Agoraphobic Nosebleed decided to play live for the first time ever for Maryland Deathfest and, as that worked fantastically, the band decided to play some other shows and get on full-swing with their music endeavors.

A few weeks ago, the band announced the release of their new EP Arc which will be released on January 22nd via Relapse Records and we finally get a new single of it and it’s quite different than what you’d expect. Just like Pig Destroyer with their EP Mass & VolumeAgoraphobic Nosebleed decided to slow down way more than their usual grindcore sound because their latest track “Not A Daughter” sounds super doomy and sludgy.

I have no problem with them experimenting a little bit with their sound after an entire discography of top quality angry grindcore  but that’s for you to decide so take a listen yourself and tell us what you think.

Pseudo-writer with little to no expectations of ever winning a Pulitzer but totally down to write about your unknown band if it's good to my ears.
