Purveyors of grind-metal madness Agoraphobic Nosebleed have just announced the release of a brand new EP, the first of four. The three-song EP is titled Arc and clocks in around 25 minutes, and judging by the song-preview below, we’re inclined to believe Relapse R; ecords when they say this new record is “doomier” than ever.

Said vocalist Richard Johnson in a recent interview with Metal Underground about working with Relapse Records:

“I like working with Relapse a lot. My association with them pre-dates Agoraphobic Nosebleed. I had a band [Enemy Soil] that had put out a 7-inch and they took a couple of songs and put them on a couple of compilations. Because, you know, they put out these comps all the time. They just put out another sampler. Yet another one. They did a re-issue of that 7-inch recently, which was really nice. I like that a lot.”

Eric Lacombe did the art work for Arc, which is available now for pre-order in a variety of formats with a release date of January 22nd.
