Industrial rock band 3Teeth has announced the impending release of their new album. Metawar is slated to hit shelves on July 5.

In a statement made by frontman Alexis Mincolla about the album, he said

“If our debut album was focused on man vs. the world, and our sophomore album was man vs. himself, then I really wanted to ‘Metawar‘ to focus on the idea of world vs. world, and the notion that if man doesn’t create his own world then he’s often crushed by the world of another.”

Metawar is 3Teeth’s third studio album. The band released their sophomore effort <shutdown.exe>, in 2017. In 2018, the band released a two-song collaboration with Ho99o9 called “Lights Out” / “Time’s Up” as a limited edition 7” single.

Along with the announcement, 3Teeth has released the album’s first single, “American Landfill.” According to Revolver, Mincolla said of the track that it’s “meant to convey the feeling of ‘getting buried under the ruin of a fallen empire.’”

‘Metawar’ is up for pre-order right now. 3Teeth will be on the road in Europe with Ministry on their summer tour starting June 30 in Berlin, Germany.
