Prong, State Of Emergency (Steamhammer/SPV): According to frontman Tommy Victor, Prong’s 13th studio album is “genre transcending” and “covers a lot of different angles.”
Dogstar, Somewhere Between The Power Lines And Palm Trees (Dillon Street): Featuring actor Keanu Reeves on bass, the band recently reunited and will be releasing their first album in 23 years.
Citizen, Calling The Dogs (Run For Cover): Alt-Rock band Citizen’s fifth studio effort was produced by Rob Schnapf and features the first time touring musicians Ben Russin and Mason Mercer recorded with them. Early reviews for the album are positive, with New Noise calling it “the band at their best.”
Dopelord, Songs for Satan (Blues Funeral Recordings): According to the band’s bandcamp, Dopelord’s latest release is their best so far, describing it as an “iconoclastic milestone that rumbles the earth and shakes our figurative foundations.”
Trevor Rabin, Rio (InsideOut): It’s been more than a decade since prog-rock guitarist Trevor Rabin released a solo album. It’s been more than three decades since he sang lead vocals on an album. That changes with his sixth studio effort.
