Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.
No, really, we’ve got a lot of stuff here – as has been the norm lately. Nothing like a slew of releases to saturate your summer just in time for summer tours to begin. And, as you may have noticed last week, we prettied up the column! With pictures! And they even have color! Now you can judge an album by its cover as well as the number of units they pull each week. Speaking of, note that this week we only have the number of albums sold, not actual chart positions. It’ll be back to normal next week. Oh, and in case you were wondering, Metallica’s Black Album sold another 3,400 this week.

This is the thirteenth live album from Motörhead and, as weird as this is to say, the band’s last professionally recorded live performance.

This is the second album from the Lovecraftian tech death band.
