KK’S Priest, the new band featuring former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing and Former Priest Vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens, will be releasing, their new album, Sermons Of The Sinner, on October 1st. The release date was originally August 20th but was pushed back to October 1st. The fourth single to be unleashed from their debut is “Raise Your Fists.” Check out the video below! Joining KK and Ripper are guitarist A.J. Mills (Hostile), bassist Tony Newton (Voodoo Six), and drummer Sean Elg (Deathriders, Cage).
Downing had this to say,
“This video is emblematic of what you can expect to experience when the band hits the road,” Downing said. “This song totally rejoices in everything rock and metal, and is a clear indication that the band is raring to go, so get ready to ‘raise your fists’ with us when we hit the road,”
Downing has been busy enjoying his freedom since his time with Judas Priest ended in 2011. But in 2019 KK took to the stage again leading to other performances that reenergized Downing. All this culminated in KK’s Priest and a return of the legendary Guitarist. Not one to rely on his past successes, Downing passed on the idea of performing Judas Priest songs and instead set out to create his own new metal. Sermons of the Sinner was born and KK is back!
Previous singles include “Brothers of the Road,” “Sermons of the Sinner,” and “Hellfire Thunderbolt.”
