1) Lamb of God, Wrath
Wrath remains one of Lamb of God’s grittiest albums in their discography following 2006’s dynamic Sacrament, which featured a squeaky-clean production and focused more on added subtleties to help carry each track. Wrath rounds out the top triad of Lamb of God releases with Ashes of the Wake (2004) and Sacrament. Wrath features some of the band’s heaviest moments as the record was released at a time when the band could have easily begun to rest on previous success. Instead, they delivered a solid output that sits as one of their strongest to date.
