3. Gehennah – Drink, Fight and Fuck

Probably GG Allin’s mantra “Drink, Fight and Fuck” it’s exactly what it sounds like: a celebration for drinking, fighting and fucking and the best band to pick this cover up was Swedish black/thrash maniacs Gehennah. Just like Allin himself, these guys don’t care about anything that’s not the representation of a dangerous rock & roll life. Drinking, partying, brawling and bashing are the first thing in Gehennah’s menu and the greatness of this cover shows that exactly.

2. Taake – Die When You Die

You probably heard about the whole Taake incident when some antifa guy setting off a pepper spray to the crowd during one of their shows in Sacramento, CA. If you did, I sure hope you got to catch them during their recent US tour and heard them playing this great GG Allin song. Taake’s frontman Hoest is not precisely a very friendly and calm person if you cross him the wrong way so it’s no surprise that he’s a GG Allin fan and paid extra attention to deliver an amazing cover for “Die When You Die” which we believe would make Allin himself very proud of.

1.-Watain – Fuck Off, We Murder

Another controversial band, Watain, also have an admiration for Allin’s persona and they paid tribute to him with “Fuck Off, We Murder.” If you know Watain’s music, you know this isn’t the typical style they do but they somehow make it work so perfectly that you really can’t tell it’s actually the rotten-smelling, blood-drenched Swedes playing it. Just like the rest of the bands listed above, these guys are also no joke when it comes to their stage performance and do what they preach, as D.R.I.’s bassist found in the hardest way back in 2010.
