10) Capricorn, “Mr. Voorhees”

Capricorn are a speed metal band from Germany. This 1993 song starts out with the “ch-ch-ch ah-ah-ah” heard in the Friday the 13th movies, and is appropriately named for that reason.

11) Mega Beardo, “Friday the 13th”

This is a pretty epic metal version of the Friday the 13th theme by Mega Beardo. There’s a digital feel to this, which is a unique touch that makes this cover the one worth mentioning.

12) Fatal Violence, “Friday the 13th”

Here’s a little bit of power metal for you. This song romanticizes destruction and sees the 13th as the day it should happen. Lyrics include “Draw’s closer the world’s last day…It’s Friday the 13th, it’s Friday the 13th, if I die and find no tomorrow, can I claim, madness reigns!

13) Megadeth, “I Aint Superstitious”

If there’s one band who probably doesn’t care about Friday the 13th as a day, it’s Megadeth – and they make that pretty clear in their cover of Willie Dixon’s “I Ain’t Superstitious.”
