2012 ended in an unthinkable way for Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins, who was recently charged with a series of sex offenses against children. And it looks like 2013 isn’t going to be much better for Watkins, as he’ll be remanded in custody until March 11.

According to the BBC, Watkins appeared in Cardiff Crown Court via a video link from Parc Prison in Wales yesterday (December 31), along with the two other unidentified females being charged as well.
A plea and case management hearing is slated for March 11, during which Watkins will officially enter his plea. Until then, the Lostprophets frontman will remain behind bars.

As you may recall, the charges against Watkins are pretty shocking and include conspiring to rape a one-year-old girl. However, as we noted before, he has yet to be found guilty by a jury and details are still emerging. Still, the accusations alone are enough to leave us stunned.
