We’ve written about the O’Keefe Music Foundation kids before, most recently a few weeks ago when they covered a Danzig song coincidentally right when it was announced the Misfits were reuniting. The first time we wrote about them, however, it was when they were covering Tool’s “Sober.” Well, now a separate group of them are covering Tool once again. The Cincinnati nonprofit charity organization aims to educate and produce music for children, and they appear to be on their way. 7 of them recorded a demo of Tool’s “Lateralus,” and are aiming to do the whole nine-minute version of it. Featuring two guitarists, a bassist, a drummer, a vocalist and two kids playing trash cans, it’s a nice start. If you want to help the kids cover more Danzig, you can do so by contributing to their kickstarter campaign.
