We caught up with Odinfist vocalist/guitarist Tyler Anderson as he revealed his dog, Bella’s favorite metal band is Judas Priest.

 Tell us more about your pet(s) and their names?

My dog’s name is Bella. She is a 9-year-old bostipoo (boston terrier, maltese, poodle mutt/mongrel/mix) and she is the best girl in the whole world. She came into my life along with my then-girlfriend, now wife, Vanessa 5 years ago.

Have you ever taken your pet on tour?

No, she always stays at home with a relative to the puppy sit her. Usually her grandparents or uncle. She’s too much of a homebody to go on long trips.

Who looks after your pet while on the road?

If I’m away for a show or recording, usually my wife is at home with Bella. If my wife is with me, we have other family members look after her.

What’s your pet’s favorite song or album?

Bella is mostly into Disney music, but her favorite heavy metal band is Judas

Priest. She’s a big fan of their 70s stuff. “Starbreaker” is a definite favorite of hers.

How did you introduce your pet to metal?

Spinning records in the living room! Bella fell in love with the true, old metal sound in no time.

What animal charity means most to you?

Definitely our local SPCA! There’s no better or easier way to help out the critters than donating, or better yet, adopting!
