Paws, Pets & Metal is Metal Insider’s newest column on bands with pets, discovering who watches them on the road, and more. Get to know more about these metal furbabies. We caught up with Element of Noise (eOn) rhythm guitarist Olivier reveals his cats are headbangers.

Tell us more about your pet(s) and their names

I have 4 cats (narnia, ozzy, houton, nougatine), 2 rabbits (pampan, sugar), 6 chichens (sorry no names), 1 turtle (franklin), and 1 budgie (blue) (need another female for him in order not to be alone), I really like these moments with them. I live a simple life in a small countryside village. Music, Friends and nature and death metal of course. But don’t be afraid, all of the menageries are away from Big AMP and big riffs. rock on!

Have you ever taken your pet on tour?

Not yet, but in the future why not. Right now that is me who is touring for them, playing electric guitar in front of cats, or with the guitar folk in front of the chickens and rabbits.

Who looks after your pet while on the road?

The electric metal croquette distributor;o). it’s really practical thing that gives the right amount of food to each cat. of course, the black cat got twice portions;o)

What’s your pet’s favorite song or album?

It’s macaroni cheese from the thrash band Insanity alert.

How did you introduce your pet to metal?

I just play riffs in front of them, and so on, they move their head like me, headbangggggg

What animal charity means most to you?

It’s to take care of them every time, in order to give them the best life possible.
