Benefit/Fundraiser For Falling To Pieces’ Frontwoman Announced

Posted by on November 8, 2010

As Metal Insider mentioned earlier today, Nicci DeSoto (Nicci D.), frontwoman of No Label Needed finalist Falling To Pieces, perished in a motorcycle accident over the weekend. While the band is obviously coming to terms with their tragic loss, they’re also trying to raise the funds to pay for her service. To help, the band will be having a benefit this coming Wednesday (10) in the band’s hometown of Livermore CA. In addition, there will also be a benefit concert this coming Friday (12), with all proceeds from the $10 show going to DeSoto’s family. Bands playing include Severed Fifth, Dissipate, Left of Christ, The Venting Machine, and LD/50, with more to come.

Also, there has been a PayPal account set up through Devil Dolls MC, the motorcycle club she was a part of. To donate to this worthy cause, click here. It’s obvious that Nicci was beloved by her friends and family, and as sad as her passing is, it’s encouraging to see her friends and family taking action to honor her legacy and ensure that she’s given the proper service she deserves. Flyer for the benefit concert after the jump.
