It only took a month after Maryland Deathfest, the biggest festival of extreme metal in the US, to reveal some of the bands confirmed to perform next year and, as usual, it is loaded with a lot of heavy hitters that the metal community can certainly appreciate. These are the bands who will grace the stages in Baltimore, MD next May:

A set of early bird tickets went on sale today, which they sold out in a matter of seconds but don’t despair, as regular sale will happen possibly at some point this coming August. We were there this past edition and you can take a look at our thoughts and pictures here, and surely will be there next year to catch the sets from Australia’s Destroyer 666, who haven’t played in American soil in over 5 years; Samael, who have been celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Ceremony of Opposites album playing it in its entirety with various performances in Canada and Europe, and Canadian speed thrash veterans Exciter.
