cannibal corpse 70000 tonsIt’s been less than two months since the last 70,000 Tons Of Metal Cruise took place. And while we’ve still got about ten months until the next installment sets sail, we already know 15 of the bands that’ll be onboard.

Since last week, 70,000 Tons Of Metal has taken to Facebook to announce bands that’ll be playing the cruise next year. And so far, Cannibal Corpse, Arch Enemy, Chimaira, Blind Guardian, Annihilator, Ensiferum, Origin, Heathen, Threshold, Equilibrium, Grave Digger, Therion, Xentrix, In Extremo, and Korpiklaani have already been confirmed for the cruise. And at this rate, it likely won’t take long for them to reveal the remaining 45 bands that’ll be playing onboard.

Even though there are plenty of acts left to be announced, 70,000 Tons Of Metal is off to a killer start (though if we’re to be honest, they’ve got some big competition this year). The fifth round of 70,000 Tons Of Metal will take place January 22-26.
