01) Bell Witch, Future’s Shadow Part 1: The Clandestine Gate (Profound Lore)

Few albums make me feel the way Mirror Reaper does, but Bell Witch’s latest album is another massive triumph. At little over 80 minutes, this album is a masterpiece meant to echo through grand cathedrals, putting the listener in a contemplative, meditative state. There’s a catharsis that comes from listening to this album in one sitting, especially in the dark when the day is done.
Key Track: The Whole Damn Thing

Honorable Mentions:
Allfather, A Violent Truth
Hellripper, Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags (Peaceville)
Panopticon, The Rime of Memory
Fires in the Distance, Air Not Meant For Us (Prosthetic)
