Good Charlotte, Motel Du Cap (Atlantic):
The pop-punk band returns with their eighth studio album, their first in seven years. It’s a solid record.
Halestorm, Everest (Atlantic):
According to the band, their sixth studio effort is a reintroduction to their story. Said singer Lzzy Hale of the record, “We weave a tangled web of melancholy, frustration, anger and the vast purgatory of love and love lost. It is a rollercoaster of epic musical detours, great songwriting and completely unhinged twists and turns.”
Attack Attack!, Attack Attack! II (Oxide):
The metalcore band releases its first new album in 13 years, of which Idobi called its two lead singles “a refreshing fusion of dance pop EDM and metal breakdowns, perfect for the Warped Tour scene adult who needs some metalcore to shake it to.”
BABYMETAL, METAL FORTH (Capitol):
After being delayed twice, the Japanese metal group finally releases its fifth studio album. The work features the debut of new member Momoko Okazaki, as well as guest spots from Spiritbox, Polyphia, Slaughter To Prevail, Bloodywood, Tom Morello and Poppy.
