Metal Inside(r) Home Quarantine is Metal Insider’s new column during this time of isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked artists five questions on what’s been keeping them busy ranging from their favorite movies, food they’ve been eating, music they’ve been listening to and more. We caught up with Joe Knecht as he’s been spending this time practicing and playing video games.

What have you been doing to pass time during Quarantine?

A combination of practicing and playing video games.

Have you been listening to any music or have any playlists worth checking out?

I have an Anything playlist that is mainly Prog Metal and classical music. It also had folk music on it as well.

A lot of people have been spending this time cooking, including making their own bread, what food have you been preparing during this time?

Chili and Bolognese in the Crock-Pot

In terms of entertainment, what movies, TV shows, books, or games have been keeping you busy?

I mainly play games, I enjoy Doom both the new and old games, Halo, and Warhammer Vermintide 2 all on the PC of course. I have a lot of other games in my Steam Library like most people, these are just the ones I’ve been playing as of late. For shows, I have been watching King Of The Hill.

What advice do you have for your fans in isolation during this time?

Take advantage of the downtime, practice, and plan ahead. I did not do a whole lot of planning ahead and now I feel like I am scrambling to catch up.
